My quest for making meaning finds expression in my passion for people and the desire to help them and the social systems they work and live in unlock the latent entrepreneurial energy to create value for all stakeholders.

My areas of special interest are entrepreneurship, leadership, teams, change management and organization development. I have secured extensive experience in these areas over the past decade through first hand experience in the capacity of consultant, coach, facilitator and trainer to large corporates and numerous SME’s.

I am also a part-time MBA lecturer and an external examiner for MBA dissertations, and present entrepreneurship skills development courses to young adults.

Purpose of "Thought Leader"

With social- and professional networking on the web being the flavour of the day, one's first reaction to a new network might be negative.


"Though Leader", however, is not a social- or professional network in the true sense of the word. For that purpose ample social- and professional networks exist, i.e. Facebook, MySpace, Linkedin, etc. I am personally well acquainted with some of these networks, and also a member with a number of them.

What is a Thought Leader?

According to Wikipedia "Thought Leader" is a buzzword or article of jargon used to describe a futurist or person who is recognized among their peers and mentors for innovative ideas and demonstrates the confidence to promote or share those ideas as actionable distilled insights (thinklets).
